First Fix in Progress – Kitchen Rewire in Market Weighton

Here’s the start of a new kitchen rewire — known in the trade as the First Fix.

We begin by marking out where the sockets, switches, and appliances will go using a laser level for perfect alignment. Once that's done, we remove the old wiring, fit new back boxes to the marked points, and install fresh cabling, clipped neatly and ready for plastering.

It's the essential first stage that ensures everything works — and looks — exactly as it should when the kitchen is finished.
