Drax Power Station Tour

In the photo above, I’m standing in the generation hall, right in front of the impressive No.1 Generator. This single generator produces an incredible 660 megawatts of electricity — enough to power the entire Leeds postcode area on its own. Standing there, surrounded by the machinery and engineering that keeps our homes, businesses, and industries running, was a real reminder of the scale and complexity of our national power network.
